A Bit About Me

I’ve spent many years playing in local bands and jam sessions, as well as five years travelling internationally on cruise ships as a band leader. Along the way, I’ve performed in house bands, theatre productions, and with guest entertainers, and those experiences have helped shape the way I teach.

My lessons focus on building strong technique, good timing, confidence, and musical expression, all in a friendly and encouraging environment.

I’m especially inspired by rock, pop, and blues, and I love shaping lessons around the music and songs that you enjoy most. That way, lessons feel more engaging and personal, and you can build confidence and make progress at a pace that feels right for you.

I offer personalised online drum lessons for students of all ages and experience levels, making it easy to learn wherever you are.

Whether you’re picking up drumsticks for the very first time, working towards drum grades, or already playing and looking to develop your technique and confidence, I’ll tailor each lesson to suit your goals, interests, and experience.

Online lessons are simple and flexible. All you need is a drum kit or practice pad and a device with a camera and audio, such as a phone, tablet, or laptop for Zoom sessions. I want learning drums to feel enjoyable, convenient, and accessible, no matter where you’re starting from.
